Chapter Five

Later Thursday Morning

When Finn opened his eyes again, it was early. Devon was back at the table, working on more paperwork. When he realized he was being watched, Devon nodded to Finn but didn’t stop what he was doing. Finn got up and went to the bathroom. When he finished, he glanced at the washcloth and soap, and scrubbed himself extra clean. He threw the washcloth in the hamper and strolled back into the room.

“Whatcha doing?” Finn asked, flopping over onto the bed. It was eight o’clock in the morning. Finn hadn’t had much sleep last night, but he was ready to get the day started.

“Working,” Devon said, signing his name again to the bottom of the next sheet. The creamy paper had Devon’s corporate logo embossed on it. “Honestly, Muriel’s made the whole system practically automatic down to the special diet and car service from the airport to the marina. All I’m responsible for is signing the checks and the thank-you cards.”

“You bored with it?”

“No. I’m wanting to get into an actual yacht that will need an actual crew. And once that’s done, I’ve been thinking about getting into racing.”

“Do you have a few million to spare?” Finn asked. He lay back on the bed and stretched, lifting his body off the mattress. He expected Devon to laugh, but Devon didn’t.

“It would be great exposure for the charter business,” Devon said, stacking the papers up. “I need a write-off anyway. I pay way too much taxes.”

Finn pushed up to his elbow. “So I’m not eating you out of house and home?” The amount of tuna Devon had fed Finn would have been at least a couple of hundred dollars.

“I can handle your appetite for a little while longer,” Devon said. His gaze swept down Finn’s body on display for him.

His ass was still red, but his body’s healing the bruising was a constant buzz. If he didn’t know they had to go to the city, he’d start Devon off again. “All of them?” Finn asked, looking over his shoulder to see Devon’s face.

Devon didn’t answer. He was too busy staring at Finn’s ass. “You said you were going to lick me, and you didn’t so much as kiss my butt,” Finn said. He reached behind him with his hand. Emboldened from the sex they’d already had, Finn opened himself up for Devon to see.

“Could you use both your hands?” Devon said, his voice low.

“Only because you kept using the crop on me,” Finn said. He couldn’t brace himself to look around while holding himself open.

“Arch your back,” Devon said. “Let me see you.”

Finn arched his back and spread his legs, lifting his hips off the mattress. If Devon couldn’t see Finn, he wasn’t looking at this point. “Like this?” Finn asked.

Devon’s chair scraped across the floor. “May I approach the bed?”

“You can do whatever you want,” Finn said. The itch was back but just as a tickle.

He heard Devon’s footsteps. Devon dropped to his knees beside the bed and took Finn’s wrists.
